Workshop on 3D Printing and Artificial Intelligence in Pharmaceutical Sciences

On December 19, 2024, the Malla Reddy Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MRIPS), Hyderabad, Telangana, under the esteemed Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), is organizing an insightful One-Day Workshop on 3D Printing and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The event, set to take place at the MRIPS Auditorium, promises a comprehensive learning experience for participants, blending cutting-edge technology with pharmaceutical applications.

Objectives of the Workshop

The workshop aims to:

  • Explore job opportunities in AI and scientific writing.
  • Demonstrate automated proofreading and editing tools.
  • Discuss hypothesis generation and data organization using AI.
  • Highlight AI applications in result interpretation.
  • Introduce participants to materials, CAD modeling, and the operation of 3D printers.
  • Teach the fundamentals of 3D CAD designing and G-Code creation.
  • Provide hands-on experience with 3D printing.
  • Present case studies and examples of 3D printing in pharmaceutical and biomedical applications.
  • Orient participants towards 3D printing research in the field.

Schedule Highlights

The event features:

  • Inauguration Ceremony (9:30 AM to 10:10 AM), including a welcome address by the Principal.
  • A session on Applications of AI in Scientific Writing by Dr. N. Sriram (10:30 AM to 12:00 PM), followed by an interaction session.
  • A presentation on Applications of 3D Printing in Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences by Dr. Prakash Katakam (1:35 PM to 2:30 PM).
  • Certificate distribution and a vote of thanks to conclude the workshop.
